RE: F*ckin Hell DVD Box Office!

Okay - I`ll check out Ringos.....

Hit and miss - you`re telling me. But did you eventually get your doco?

Question is, how much longer will I have to wait? My patience is wearing thin....

I would endorse DVD Box Office if I knew I would eventually receive the disks....

RE: What TV series would you like to see released on DVD ?

How about the Dukes of Hazzard or CHiPs? Both score highly on my retro scale....

RE: F*ckin Hell DVD Box Office!

Dammit - I wish they had gone to warp. I have been waiting for over a month for three films and all I have received is a mail telling me that my stuff is on back order and will be shipped as soon as it arrives. Problem is, the stuff I have ordered is very scarce (Zombie, Silence of the Lambs Crit. Ed., Robocop Crit. Ed. etc etc) so the question is, will I ever receive these DVDs?

RE: Silence of the Lambs: Criterion Version

Yeah, I`ve had the same trouble. I ordered the film from DVD Box Office over a month ago and haven`t received anything. Apparently, it`s on back order, whatever the hell that is. Here`s hoping for a delivery in the next ten years.....

RE: TV for Toshiba SD2109 - Advice, please!

Does anyone know which CRT 4:3 TVs will run from a chipped and modified US Toshiba SD2109 (Macrovision also disabled) that can support a Pure NTSC signal?

I have a crappy portable at the moment, but want to upgrade to a more decent TV. However, most televisions (bar widescreen models) are unable to cope with the Pure NTSC signal and the image is presented slightly left of centre. I have been told that I may need to shell out in excess of £1000 on TV that can support this signal, but are there not cheaper TVs that can do the same thing? Apparently, most Panasonic TV models are able to accept Pure NTSC (4.58) and PAL 60 (3.5/3.68) no problem - can anyone verify this? Has anyone else had problems?

Suggestions, please!
