Anyone know where I can get this cheap and quickly? Have ordered it from DVD Box Office but they say it could be ages before they get it, if ever!!

No I got mine from Express.com but they dont have it at moment, Todays news on this site reads:- Criterion no longer hold the rights to Silence of the Lambs and is has been discontinued with immediate effect. The new copyright owner, MGM should be releasing a new special edition later in the year.

A new special edition? Damn, I got my Criterion DVD a month ago and now you tell me that I have to buy another version?? Oh well...I hope it`ll have a full length cmentary by Jodie :)

You can buy it @ Amazon it`s in stock,well it was last night and £20 plus p/p.

Yeah, I`ve had the same trouble. I ordered the film from DVD Box Office over a month ago and haven`t received anything. Apparently, it`s on back order, whatever the hell that is. Here`s hoping for a delivery in the next ten years.....

Amazon.com have been out of stock for ages now and .co.uk don`t know what SOTL is ( can`t find it in DVD & Video at all!!)
SOTL:CE is no longer produced so it looks like the e-auction sites from now on!!!????
Ringos provide a great service - I bought CE editions of Brazil, Robocop & Time Bandits and got them the day after ordering!!

Anyone who sees this dvd should snap it up instantly! Now that its deleted the price will go up, especially now that Hannibal has been out, and the demand rises. Stocks are very limited!
MGM cannot release the dvd with the same extras as Criterion did, as the extras right are Criterion`s (confusing eh!) l dont think MGM can improve on what Criterion did, but who knows!

Hi I`ve just recieved my silence of the lambs yesterday i`ve had it on order from Amazon.com for ages and It only cost $19 give them a go they probable have more

Errrrm....Amazon list it as $35.99 - about £25 !!!! (ex shipping cost!!) and at the moment lists it as `out of print`......i.e no buy button!!
Either you`re a major, major shareholder, or what you`ve bought is a hardback book........:-)
