Thanks sanejo for the tip. My AIWA XD-DV370 had same problem, locked after the Dreamworks bit, i actually sent it back to Play 247 and got a new replacement, minus the fuji sticker but still locked out, however following your instructions, 1 press of the Menu button , during the Dreamworks intro, takes you into the Menu, its faster too cos you bypass the dreamworks sequence as well..........yayyyyyyyy!!

i had this dvd player from HK on multi zone and the bloody RCE version of The Patriot caused it to reset to region 3 and lock so be careful!, despite posting this thread over a 6 month period, no one has been able to help, so now i got a Awai 370, which is fine!!

fanx for the info how does the eprom work-can it be reprogrammed by a tosh engineer-can you tell me more about rubi`s chip-is it hard to install or available?

Like you i have had the same problem with the same machine purchased around the same time except in my case the film "The patriot (region 2)" caused the machine to reset to Region 3.How have you got on with Amir`s mate in Israel
