IIRC They are only £20-30 cheaper from the China websites compared to the UK websites prices. I was looking into this as my friend is away on holiday in China now but decide not to bother.

Can anyone tell me if it has noisy operation and how the recording from a digibox picture is like. Can you set the timer for the Digibox feed ie set it to AUX or AV. Does it lack the colours as in the What HiFi review? Pros and Cons? Thanks

Simpson S4 R2 dvd sound problem in Marge in Chains episode?

I watched all R2 episodes but i noticed that in Marge in Chains at 03.14 at the Osaka plant when the japanese are laughing and there is a mute on the sound for a few seconds. I have check on the same episode i taped from BBC2 and there is nothing wrong it. So Fox has made error ? It is out of synch too?

If I Remember Correctly ( IIRC) It is a Director`s Cut or uncut and deleted footage added in with commentary

The Real Ghostbusters coming to R2 dvd soon !

I collected my free dvd copy from the Daily Express voucher and took it to BigW. The dvd has only has one episode on the dvd. It says on the back of the cover "The Real Ghostbusters Coming soon to dvd" I loved this a teenager and the characters and the eerie music.

Only TPTTF Dvd R2 is out 2nd Feb 2004. TLTTF is still not available on dvd either in US or UK. WOA is available only on R1. I am a great fan of these films and looking forward to getting TPTTF on dvd next month. Lets hope thatMGM will release the others

I read that this S.E the picture and sound has been remastered. Lets hope that at the end of the film that the very noticable black thin lines and blobs are removed which the R2 UK had.

It will take a couple of years and it will be the crazy just like the Dvd player at the moment. The dvd players took awhile.

RE: Simpsons Season 3

I like simpsons and bought the season 2 on R2 but not happy with the telecine wobble throught a lot of the episodes and aliasing. It wobbles left to right and sometimes up and down. It can`t be help due to the process to dvd transfer and being done by a single cell animation. I hope this does not occur as much on S3 when ever it will be released. Anyone noticed these telecine wobbles?

Yes that is the layer change and on some dvd player it takes a few milliseconds and quite noticable Ie sulley freezing. They could of put it in a better scene. The R1 has later and in better scene

Toshiba 100e and x files movie probs

I just bought this fight the future film for a tenner and has noticed when on the main menu screen and wait for the music to stop the highlighted box around play movie disappears and you cannot start the film ( to see the film i have to press enter within 30 sec) and enter the special feature at all and thats with remote pressing. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks

And the 2 reviews of this film in this site about the dvd picture are not great. Peoples faces ie mulder/scully are soft and not that sharp it is a mix bag throught out the film with peoples faces slightly soft throught the film and some times sharp with some digital smearing on faces too.

Does anyone know that these dvds are available on region 2 only i know they are out on budget region1 but my tosh is only r2. I especially like At the earths core with peter cushing he just great along side doug mcclure

v mini series march !!

I am looking forward to buying the v mini series which is out 11th march and is in 1.85.1 ratio and 189mins long. Is anyone else a fan of this great series and buying it? Can`t wait to see it again in widescreen and go down the memory lane when i first saw it in 1983.

New Farscape Part one is on tonight !!!!

I seen this last night in Scotland and it is on in England tonight a 6pm. The graphic were great and it great to see that we brits get to see this before the US !!!
