Yes !

I found a kind of a workaround.
In the Thomson Main Menu you can program your
own "playlist" (Sequence of chapters, Tracks)
If you do this and start the sequence, the movie
will play without any problems.

Only thing is : the sequence is limited to a number of
20 Entries ( = Chapters ) so if you have a film like
charlies angels with 24 chapters you will have to
reprogramm the list after the first 20 chapters.
