Cheap used N64 consoles

Chris Cox (Reviewer) posted this on Tuesday, 6th August 2002, 01:08

My local Electronics Boutique has lots of pre-owned M64 consoles selling for £12.99.

It may be an old console, but Mario Kart 64 still rules

How about an ex-demo model with 2 games for £20? Or dreamcast games for a fiver each? Contact Big Ben Interactive 02380 653 377 and ask to be sent a copy of their latest list.

...and how long does it take `Big Ben` to burn off these Dreamcast games, hmmm? ;-)

Besides, if you can get one, the Sega Saturn is a bargain right now.
There are some damn good games for it, and good ones still being released (not very often tho).

Dreamcast - again, great value second hand with cheap games - classics like Dead or Alive 2.

N64 - Cheapo games from the boot sales.

I always buy stuff when the public loses interest.
I have the full set in the attic - Atari 2600, ZX81, Spectrum (48, 128, +2, +3), C64, Amiga (500, 500+, 1000, 1200), Sega Master System, NES, Sega Megadrive and a SuperNES (I skipped the Amstrads and Atari ST`s, as these were the poor man`s alternatives at the time). I still pull them down once in a while...

Nostalgia isn`t what it used to be...

They are all originals - Big Ben Interactive handled Nintendo 64 stuff in the UK and then took over dreamcast stuff, so its all the stuff the shops are now sending back to clear the shelves.

Check out your info before slating it!!

Jeebus... relax, did you note the ";-)" at the end of the first line?

I was just joshin` ya.

I`m sure it`s an excellent service, but a software sales company that exists over the phone and nowhere else is a company I don`t trust.

Good value games though...

A jeebus can never relax, due to fear of getting pudding in my eye......

As for a company that `you can`t trust` doesn`t the fact that they are the UK centre for dealing with Nintendo and SEGA? check the number in the back of any Nintendo manual and you`ll see the numbers are the same.

I`ve ordered from them many, many (too many) times and so have quite a few others with no problems.

Yes, I`ve used them only this week. The items I ordered were delivered next day (postage is free as well). Great service
