Digitheatre DTS £300 - anything better?

Has anyone seen a better price on the Videologic Digitheatre DTS than the £300 at Richer sounds?

Thanks

tony

Can`t better that price, but I`d just say that for a few quid more than that I got the Yamaha HTiB-45. Does the same job, but you also get Pro-Logic 2, more inputs and a radio. I`m happy with mine as my first surround system. PL2 is very good for TV and even some music. The Yamaha speakers are adequate. I can`t say how they compare to the Videologic, but you have the option of upgrading later.

About £320 inc at Unbeatable.

Just a suggestion

Tony, if you know someone with a Makro card, or you have one yourself, then they are doing the Sony Speaker set(powered) with a built-into-subwoofer decoder for DTS/DD/Prologic 2 for £199 plus vat. Last time I looked in Swansea they had a couple of sets left. Worth a try, I think it was called the B1 or something like that. Roger.

Hiya,

Comet in Cwmbran have the Black Digitheatre DTS for £248 (yes, the DTS version, not the DD only version!) However they currently have 40% off that price at the moment, so it is a steal I reckon.

What I don`t know is whether that means you`d have to have the one off the shelf....but for less than £150, it might be worth it.

Hope this helps,

Neil.
