Managed to obtain gamecube and free game at 4pm for the said price in Hemel Hempstead today. Bargain or what!!!!!

The sale started today, and on the website it says that the offer ends 1st April. I sure will get one or two tomorrow. And although Argos might be out of stock in certain stores, perhaps Dixons can price match the offer, which will make the offer even cheaper as they have 110% difference, although Dixons might say that they don`t sell this special package so have no need to match it.

Awesome, thanks doraemon. Well I`ve put my e-mail address down on the Argos site for the console, so they`ll let me know when its in stock. I checked lots of various Argos stores across the country to see if it was in stock in any of them, but no one had any.

Not sure if Dixons would bother to price match the offer, we all know what they`re like. So 1st of April you say... they`ve gotta get some in stock before then right? Here`s hoping!

Good tip for everyone.

You can use the `Reserve Online` tab on the Arogs site to check you local stores availability and reserve one of their in stock units for collection (if they have any).

My local branch c(Putney) ertainly has some in and this stock is going to be different to their online warehouse stock which they use when calculating their online orders..

I`ve used this before for other items and it seems to work OK.

I would also not hold out much hope of them getting any further online stock based on the Canon Ixus fiasco so this may be a better bet.

Hope this helps - would go for it myself but am still convincing the missus of the merits of Xbox Live and another Console may not help with this :-)

Unf no Eternal Darkness in stock in my local branch, so I`ve reserved Pikmin and a black cube for £78.99...need to pop into game and get a Rogue Leader at the same time, £19.99 new, might be a cheaper s/h one...

Have tried reserving on many many different stores around the country where I could get one picked up for me. Have had absolutely no luck whatsoever.

Don`t think I`m going to end up being able to get one by the looks of it. :o(

*Have tried ordering on home delivery as well... no luck!!!!!!!!!! Really cheesed off to say the least. Typical that stores do an offer like this, but with limited stock.
