Page 1 of Morrisons 2 for £15 offer
Bargain Buckets Forum
Hi all,
not sure if this has been posted before but Morrisons supermarket are currently doing 2 for £15 (or £9.99 each) promotions on selected DVDs. Not a bad range including
Bay Boys (2 Disc SE)
Saving Private Ryan
Blade
Ali
Hannibal
The Fast and The Furious
Tomb Raider
American Pie
Spy Game
Final Destination
Rush Hour
Rush Hour 2
Men in Black (2 Disc SE)
Bridget Jones
East is East
Vertical Limit
and many more I forgot!
Works out to be £7.50 a DVD which isnt bad (maybe a few pennies cheaper than buying from Play.com) and certainly beats the HMV/Virgin BOGOF (bumped up price) sales.
Hope this helps!
Ray
Cheers for the heads up on that.
Nice spot!.
It`s been running for quite a while now, but not in all branches. Some don`t give as much space to DVDs, and don`t have it.
Comparing Grimsby to Sc***horpe, the two Morrisons branches I`m familiar with, Grimsby is pretty much limited to the chart sections. Sc***horpe has a much wider range, including this offer as well as a lot of cheap DVDs from such labels as Hollywood DVD.
There`s currently a DVD bargain bin as well, and Morrisons are usually pretty good on price. Often cheaper than play.com
If you`re not insistent on just buying DVDs, there are also a lot of films on VHS which are worth checking out.
See the list of DVDs I noticed in Virgin Megastores on the Virgin thread, most of the above are in that sale.
Doraemon.
For info ... Lord Of The Rings (first film) was included in the offer in my local Morrisons store.
We were soldiers is included in my local branch.
Dont know what the films like but not a bad offer for a recently released film!
Quoting the original:
"Comparing Grimsby to Sc***horpe, the two Morrisons branches I`m familiar with,"
It looks like there`s an automatic censor-bot running.
Doesn`t it look silly.
(Is there a DVD out of "The Titfield Thunderbolt"?)
