"Dont take life too seriously. You`ll never get out alive"- Van Wilder
If you don`t own this already it is well worth £9.99
Got mine from CDWow in a sale a few months ago. Mine was Mr Brown (Quentin Tarantino)
Buy it, you won`t regret it, a bloody & remarkable debut
Yeah... I got mine in the CDWow sale as well, well worth it at £9.99
Is the film the same on these editions?
What difference does the colour make, is it just the cover or the content?
Just interested,
thanks.
The cover makes no differnce to the content, they didn`t make different versions of the movie 12 years ago to allow for different DVD releases in 12 years.
Yes the cover just features the relevant cover which has the relevant colour/character on it. I have the Mr Brown cover, which was supposed to be limited so I dont know if there are any still available or not. All of the SE dvds are a fantastic 2 disc set featuring many extras. The dvd was released in 2002 but is still called the 10 years aniversary edition even though it was 11 years.
"Yeah, yeah, but Mr Brown? That`s a little too close to Mr S***" - Quentin Tarantino as Mr Brown
I can`t find it, can anyone provide a link.
Wasn`t there some comments that the SE wasn`t as good picture quality as the original release, or am I going mad? Something about the black levels?
Heres the link for pink:

I heard the same about the SE having not as good pic quality. I personally dont have the old dvd so cant compare but the pic on the SE is pretty decent IMO. There are good reasons as to why this maybe the pic is not as good. The SE has a DTS and a DD 5.1 soundtrack (Both Fab). Plus there are tons of extras. As all this is squashed onto one disc, the picture might be marginally inferior There cant be that much of a difference though as it is pretty good.

Mind you, I don`t get inky black levels anyway, as we have an LCD projector....
