Page 1 of Carry on Doctor DVD for the price of the News of the World (and possibly a trip to Blockbusters)

Those living in the Carlton TV area (which I assume should also include the old Central TV region) will get Carry on Doctor inside tomorrow`s NOTW.

Those in other regions in England, Wales and Scotland get a voucher to redeem at Blockbusters (the DVD comes in a cardboard slip case only).

Those in Ireland have to send off an SAE to get theirs.

I live in the central region and i can confirm that it is a voucher redeemable at Blockbusters :D Only valid until 22nd July while stocks last :o

I had a similar problem last year with my local Woolworths (in East Kilbride)re the "Behind the scenes...Die Another Day" DVD. After collecting the necessary tokens from "The S**", they claimed at the store opening times on the first day the DVD was available all 100 copies had gone! I phoned two other branches who still had plenty left.Obviously a bunch of thieves work in the East Kilbride store.

Needless to say I`ve not bought any more DVDs or CDs from this store. I stick to my local WHS store now- staff are much more knowledgable and customer friendly.

Totally agree mate, just had the same problem, total and utter f*** up imho. All copies had gone, quite a few people there aswell to redeem their vouchers all met with the same response Quote:

Thought it would be guddle or something like that, so didn`t bother.
So I was unable to examine the delights of the infamous News of the World ( Do they stll do the salacious stories about the ahem models and the church ministers caught with their vestments down ?)

They should of done what the Mail on Sunday did a few months back and put the DVD`s in the papers and stagger it by region over a number of weeks

I agree-they should have used the Mail On Sunday method. It`s the best way of ensuring readers get the DVD or CD- NOT staff and teir mates! :(

I`ve visited two "Blockbuster" stores (in Glasgow & Hamilton) only to be told "none left". Sure!!! >:(

Maybe if we all bombard him with emails we`ll get our DVDs! :D

Tried e-mailing him already as of yet no reply, don`t expect one either :( The worst thing about it is that i bought one of his fooking papers, good way of selling a few more papers, give them an offer they have little chance of redeeming W***ers >:(
