This is the remote for my TV. RM-939
It is fantastic!!
Absolutely solid (quite heavy in fact), aluminium case with a little light to tell you which device you`re controlling.

In fact I`m gonna buy one now as a spare..

If you`ve got a Sony (well it will control other makes too) get one - it really does look the biz.

Yeah, there are codes to put in for non-Sony makes but I imagine they`re easy enough to get hold of. I`ll even look in my instruction book for you ;-)

well i hardly used it since i use my sky remote on my tv.. but its worth keeping since it look FABulous!

its a `universal remote` but not quite universal
only controls sony TV
but can control DVD or VCR from other manufacturers as well

the function on DVD and VCR is only basic though
play,fwd,rewind etc
i`m not sure if it can be use for other functions, maybe sj can give some enlightment in that
a scan through the manual would be great :D

i did check the price on the net before, and it was £65 when i bought it a few months ago
and now i`m buying another 1 as spare ;)

I just bought one. A spare. My TV`s the KD32NX200.

I really am amazed at this price. Seems to have good feedback and has sold them in the past so should be OK.

The DVD/Video functions are basic. Stop, play, pause, FF,REW, etc aswell as power on/off.

When you buy you get a mail off him with this:
"Heres how to program it.
Switch to the channel you want to change (dvd or VCR).
As soon as you do this hold down the yellow button and wait for it to flash. Now you can program it with the relevant code from the sheet."
So he must put a sheet in too. I didn`t have to `cos my DVD and vid are Sony too. :D

Cheers for the heads-up.

EDIT:I`m paying by cheque but he`s still sending tomorrow :D

Seems to be different in appearance, but functionally the same as, the one I got with my Sony 28" Wega widescreen (can`t remember the model number off the top of my head though). It is handy not having to search out the correct remote when you just want to press play or record etc, it controls the basic functions on my Sony video and PS2. The only things I`d like it to do would be to program the video timer, and have a menu button for the PS2 (it`s annoying when you can`t access the DVD menu without searching out the PS2 remote!) If anyone who`s got one of these can tell me if it has these functions I`d get one, otherwise it`s probably the same as the one I`ve got so I won`t bother. Ta!
