Page 1 of TiVO for 99pound....
Bargain Buckets Forum
being looking for a while for a TiVO set and after seeing people spend near 250 on ebay thought i wasnt going to be able to find one cheap, yet i found a site which sells them for 99, is it just a one off payment i`m sure i remember hearing of registration fees or something, could anyone shed some light please.
What`s the site?
Not sure about the fee, but how about the name of this site that you found.
its £200 for a lifetime subsciption.. (lifetime of the box, not your lifetime)
or £10 per month.
now- whats the site?
Don`t you just love these muppets.................................obviously not the `sharing` type. Lol
Ou of stock as usual
Not really that interested in having to pay the monthly fee of £10 or £199 for lifetime. Can you buy and not subscribe and just use it as a HDD recorder, with a basic timer of a VCR. If not is there something on the market that allows this. I really fancy a DVD recorder with built in VCR, but still think they are too pricey for the amount of times that I would use the record function.
Cheers,
Paul

No, can`t use it to record without the programme listings, so the subscription is essential.
I`ve had mine for a year now, and it`s revolutionised my TV watching methods - virtually everything I watch now is recorded, rather than "live".
Best bit of kit I ever bought, without exception :)
