Page 1 of Kodak CX6330 3.1 MP
Bargain Buckets Forum
Hi
went shopping for a digicam yesterday and bought one of these
just a penny under 150 notes for a 3.1 mega pixel camera with 3x optical zoom
and movie mode (with sound).
I looked around loads of shops and I`m afraid to say D****ns had the best deal by far.
The camera was only £20 more than the 2.1 mp cameras, eg Fujifinepix A203 etc.

Sorry to dampen your spirits but I bought the better 6340 before Christmas from Boots for £149-00. Sent it back as the pictures were poor against my previous camera (a Fuji), I even sent them to Kodak who wasted my time. They were supposed to phone back on several occassions but NEVER did. So I sent it back. On auto in Telephoto on a cloudy day in December the pictures were much too dark. I then compared it against the 2 Mp Fuji, & 4 Mp Canon 400. The 2mp Fuji was best.
Oh, :(
sorry fella, but for me it`ll do just fine :) I was just after a "point & click" device
and it fits the bill quite nicely.

6 months ago it would have been a bargin, now it`s not bad value. FWIW it sounds like you got the right camera for you. It got a good review from Imagining Resource which is a pretty good site. Here`s part of the conclusion.
`This is a true "point-and-shoot" digicam, requiring little or no intervention to take nice looking photos under a wide variety of conditions. It produces very good-looking photos at a bargain price, but do note that it has several limitations, including very limited night-shooting capability and a lens that gets soft in the corners when shooting nearby subjects. ` click here for the full review.
I bought the CX6330 when it was £199-99 at Dixons 3 months ago.
It was a bargain then, and it`s even more of a bargain now.
It`s a great digital camera that takes very good pictures.
I personally recommend it.
Talkshop,
I agree, I well chuffed with it, my previous camera was also a Kodak, I bought
it about 3 years ago & it was only 1Mp and cost £180 :o
As i`m obviously not David Bailey and not overly critical of my snaps then
this will fit the bill nicely. Most other cameras were around the £130 / £140 mark
and were mainly 2.1Mp models, so this one was priced just right. :)
