Tesco are floggin packs of 4 Energizer 2100mAH rechargeable batteries for £1.87 :o dont be fooled by the £7.99 or £3.56 price tag! Had meself 6 packs of these babies :D

What size are they..AA, AAA, C or D??

AA`s I would imagine. If that`s a general price (and not just a local mistake) it will be worth making a detour for! Good spot...

They are AAs and I`ve just picked up 8 packs from 2 stores in Southampton

Good spot I will need batteries soon to power my digital camera when I go on holiday so if they are the same price locally I can stock up on them and will be able to leave the charger at home :)

No sign in my Tesco, is this Tesco Extra, or the ordinary one? Where in the store, just on the battery shelf with the rest?

Bah - no AA 4 packs left at Brookfield in Cheshunt, but I did get a charger. Someone`s been buying them all - I blame these bargain forum things myself.
