By and large the same titles from recent sales, but you may find something new amongst them.

Yes there is a differing variety of DVDs from the last time...

I got Gangs of New York, The Royal Tenenbaums, Black Hawk Down, Magnolia & El Mariachi/Desperado - all 2 Disc except the last one which are 2 films on 1 Disc ...in case you didn`t know. ;)

And £3 worth of phone credit if you flash your mobile.
:)

All ready to try on my new £125 Venturer portable DVD bought from Argos today on Manager`s Special.

It`s only a point of view...

Managed to get Terminator 3 and Red Dragon 2 discers in this offer. Instead of looking thru the normal sale display downstairs went upstairs in the Newcastle branch and picked these out. They did have a 5 for 30 sticker on them but it was different to the ones in the normal sale display. Didn`t scan thru as the offer but after a bit humming and harring (and the wife fluttering her eyelashes) the guy on the counter discounted them. Well chuffed. I think as we were leaving he went over and removed the other T3 2 discers ( we got the only Red Dragon). Might be worth investigating in other stores around the country. Best if you take your wife along for eye candy purposes. Unless you`re a woman then go yourself and leave the husband/partner outside (they only end up looking a bit shifty!)
Other discs we got were Gangs of New York, American Werewolf in London, and Final Destination 2. Others worth mentioning, Swimfan, Bourne Identity, Evil Dead, Spiderman, Seven, Kingpin, and Monsters Ball. Definately worth investigating if your in the vincinity.
Thanks for the original posting barnum

I`ve been and got a total of 10 Dvd`s of which of them were 2 disc`s and 3 of the remaining 4 were single disc special editions. If you look through all the C**P you can actually find some good films in there. Also if you have an Our Price near you they seem to have a slightly different selection of films in the same offer.

I got;
An American Warewolf In London : SE
Bad Boys : CE
The Crow : CE
The Dancer Upstairs
The Evil Dead : Full Uncut Edition
Enter The Dragon : Uncut SE
Game Of Death : 30th Aniversary Platinum Edition
Way Of The Dragon : 30th Aniversary Platinum Edition
Royal Tenembaums : CE
Terminator 3 : Single Disc

And if you look online you`ll find a largely different collection of films, mostly superfluous. :/

Rocky - tried and tested method! Good on you for capitalising on their incompetence.

Last time they had a BOGOF in there, I picked up Harry Potter which was on the sale last time as it had a sticker on from the last sale. The guy at the till didn`t know any better, and just put it through manually when it didn`t work.

They should sort the stickers out if they`re going to do sales like that - especially when the 3 for 2 sticker is underneath the plastic surround!
