Page 1 of Lodos DVD Player £30

Saw it at Sainsbury`s this lunchtime. Sorry didn`t have time to look at the spec but looks quite smart.

I`ve seen this at Sainsbury`s too. Information on the internet is very limited hitherto. Until someone buys...

It`ll probably turn out to be a re-branded something-or-other. I`ve got a Lodos FreeView receiver which is, apparently, a Goodmans GDB3 in a Goodmans GDB2 shell!

I bought a 14" dvd/tv combi and is really good. It was multi-region out of the box and plays avi`s.

I wonder if this standalone dvd player is identical?
If it does play avi`s i might get one myself.

I bought it at Christmas for £100 and noticed they still had them yesterday for the same price when i visited Sainsbury`s. Saw the dvd player but didn`t get one.

just bought one of these, seems ok plays everything so far, but havent tried dvd+r as i dont have any.

is multi region out of the box ive tried R1 so far. might try a R3 later on i think i might have one of those.

anyway the blue LED display looks nice.

overall not a bad buy for 30 quid.

Any chance you can try avi and divx files to see if they play?

I`ve seen this same player in ToysRUs (Stockport branch) for 19.99.
I have no idea if this is just a local offer though. There`s no mention of it on the site. I`ve looked.

just gave avi and divx a try and it bought th dvd player into mp3 mode but couldnt find any of the files on the disc.
i dont think it plays divx or avi, theres nothing in the manual to say it supports them.
