Bargains Galore at LX Direct

Reestit Mutton (Competent) posted this on Wednesday, 13th October 2004, 11:06

As I`m sure you are all aware by now, there`s a long list of current LX Direct discount codes doing the rounds at the moment.

The best of these offer £25 off or 25% off (for first time buyers).

I`ve decided to do a trawl of the LX Direct website and compile a list of all the best consumer technology bargains to be had using one of these codes. This list (along with references to the most useful of teh current crop of LX Direct discount codes) can be found on my website, along with non-affiliate links direct to all the relevant product pages:

http://www.users.totalise.co.uk/~lauriem/latest_additions.html#1310200401

If I`ve missed any good `uns just post them on this forum, along with a link direct to the appropriate product page. If you look closely at my product page links you can easily work out how to massively simplify the LX Direct URL before posting it on this forum.

Enjoy!
RM

Unfortunately LX are clamping down on the codes, and you can`t combine the % off codes with the £ off codes, it`s either one or the other. Also you will need to check how much you have been charged as you might get an e-mail stating, as an example, £22 being taken off your card but in actual fact £32 has been taken as they clocked on that you have tried to use more than one code at a time. You might also get an e-mail stating to call them.

I think you`ll find that the prices that I quote in my list only use one of the codes at a time as I am well aware of the issues surrounding use of multiple codes on a single purchase (free P&P excepted).

I ordered an item yesterday, got confirmation of order... heard nothing more. So think they`ve perhaps cottoned on. :(
I only used one code.
Ah well.
Will keep an eye on my credit card statement in case.
I`ve heard some are charged full price, but then they credit the card back with the discounted stuff.

Tried ordering last night and this morning, keep getting error messages after the payment page - anyone else had the same problem?

Oh my God, Bear is driving! How can that be?

Well I can`t fault their service. I ordered the Sony micro system yesterday for the grand total of £54.99 and it arrived this morning! No queries from them. I am yet to see how much they charge my card, though I expect the full price, then to wait for the 14 days to ensure the "special offers" are refunded.
