BigPockets are selling the Venturer PVS-123 4.5" Portable DVD Player (Refurbished) for a low £59.99.


Currently the one on sale in Argos for £99.99.

I was looking at getting the 7" from Staples a week or two ago but they ran out by the time i could get over there, so probably will get this for whilst at work.

Just so long as you are aware that these are refurbished DVD players ,probably shop returned and fixed ,but not a bad price tho :)

It says may have marks, but it`s only to take to work with me for breaks n`stuff. :D
Praying I can hack it using the hack posted on here somewhere... cause 99% of my dvds are rg1... :D

Its just been spotted @ ValuTech for £49.99 ( £57.57 Inc.VAT + Delivery )
ValuTech do specify its refurbished. (Returned to maker and then resold on to ValuTech "as new")

+vat at £8.58 +post at £4.50+vat=£5.29 ish looking at £64 ;)

Ah well... done now innit. Only a couple quid more from bigpockets.
Does refurbished mean it`s gonna work any different? It`s advertised as, as new... but might have some marks. That`s fine with me. :)

Thank you so much for the bigpockets link ! That site are also selling 100x ritek 80min cd-rws for £9.99. I just wish I saw it when I purchased the dvd player as it would now cost £5 extra (p&p) if I order seperatley.

Anyone who has bought a Refurbished Venturer 4.5" DVD player from BigPockets or ValuTech, Can someone tell me was it like new?

Did it look like it was brand new?
Did it have a lot of marks on the case?
Was the screen marked at all?
Did everything work fine?
Was anything different from buying a brand new one?
Where did you buy it from BigPockets or Valutech?
Did the battery still hold its charge (3hrs)?
Was everything good? And how long have you had it?
Would you recommend getting a Refurbished one?

I have two of these and also have a number of R1 disks. I can confirm this hack makes this little beauty Region - Free and will also make it play VCD and SVCD too - it`s truely fab and I am thrilled with ours having paid £99 each - so you chaps have a bargain !!!!

3 press enter to scroll through regions (select 9 for multi region)
4 press menu
5 close tray
