Warning about DVD.co.uk

Just a warning to anyone thinking of buying from this company !!

I recently moved house ,made an order soon after moving ,gave them my new address ,they still delivered to my old address( or so they say ?! )! but this shouldnt have even been a problem ,because I have mail redirection in place anyway !I have been billed for the amount ,the people who live at my old address deny all knowlege and now im out of pocket and my lil boy is gutted about his game!

Im getting legal advice on what to do ,and we are currently trying to get them to provide some form of proof of postage ,but they are refusing to help ,and have been very dissmisive and rude and ignoring my emails! :(
Just thought ,with christmas coming up (sorry for swearing ) that lots of people will be looking for reptuable companies to order from ,and would hate anyone else to fall foul of this company ! :(

Yeah, and they`ll probably say, "f*** off then".

A few people brag in forums about how they`ve pwned Sky and everyone thinks they`ll fall at your knees and give you the moon on a stick if you give it to `em on the phone.

I`m not saying not to try and wangle a deal, just don`t take a p***y attitude with them.



Oh dear your clearly not doing it right then ,I have on several occasions had to ring sky and each time they have been very helpful and we have managed to meet a compromise ,from freezing my payments after they put their prices up to having a new digibox installed even tho the first died out of warrenty .
The thing is with sky ,they are only making money out of you as long as you subscribe ,if you cant get sky either because your box died or the dish has moved then it is in their best interest to keep you subscribed !
Maybe judging by your post you have a slight `attitude problem ` ? it never hurts to be polite when you approach companies like this you know .

Unfortunatly this happens pretty regularly with our store and Netto dont seem too interested ,just always get an email back explaining that it does say "limited stock " even when you point out it surely againt the law to advertise something as being limited stock when its not available atall ,because its sold before the doors open :/
