Page 1 of dvd recorder good deal!!!!!!!!

the comet auction web site has a panasonic dmr-hs2ebs recorder for auction 300 of them in fact are these good or is it a way of dumping crap price is £599 bid at moment £101

I wonder if it is an old model..I bought a Panny DMR E85 ..cracking m/c..

It is the predecessor to the E85, and only has a 40Gb hard disk.

If there are 300, how come you can bid for them?

Isn`t it supposed to be dutch auction where 300 people can win one?

I have bid on ones of these, it says I am winning, how likely is it I will win it? Should I bid more for it?

Comet have closed the auction 2 days early with no explanation and no one winning

isnt the comet auction just the crap people have returned?

This is ridiculous. I`m never going on that site ever again.

I have e - mailed Comets customer services for an explanation- lets wait and see for there excuses this time. A couple of weeks ago they were advertising a Technics DVDR500 for 119.99 which after ordering and them taking my money thay decided was not in stock. I do not think that the machine ever existed in the first place - but strange how Comet keep making these mistakes, especially when they are so fast at getting our money. Doesn`t make Comet sense at all does it??

The Technics DVD Recorder has appeared on the Comet DVD Recorder list again today-still no picture available and still some debate whether it is indeed a Technics machine...........could be a Tangent DVR500
