Very nice but doesn`t record onto MP3-RAM, neither does it have a Panasonic Viera plasma display. Once you`ve used the timeslip facility on the Panny, you`ll wonder how you lived without it before :p

Just ordered one, will let you know what I think. Also noticed they had some cheap lexar SD cards to go with them.

Thanks Paull

p.s. totally agree with the timeslip comment - still waiting for the Veiras to come down in price.

I think the only problem is that you need a SD card to store the music on. Seems fine to me 256MB cards don`t exactly break the bank now days ~£20 at ebuyer

I can`t understand your other comments don`t make sense

MP3-RAM could you explain what this is?
Time slip on a MP3 player why?

am I going mad or are you`re replying to the wrong thread :/

Looks like a good product for the price. They obviously get the price so low because it has no built in memory, you use a memory card (which is a good idea, easily upgradeable).

The only doubt I`d have is that I haven`t heard of the company before (although the website looks professional enough), and when you check out their "about us" page, their address is a PO Box in Jersey. I`m always wary of firms that don`t give full contact details including a proper postal address.

Mark. :)

a 512mb sd card for £30 available from mx2.com, combo of the two seems like a good deal to me

how much music would you be able to store on say a 256MB SD card?

Piece of string question but. I can get 30 CDs onto one 700mb CD at 64kb MP3Pro. This means that you should get 10 CDs on one 256MB SD card. I use MP3 pro because it is the most compatable compresion with the best results I`ve heard. So far no one has realised that I was recording at such a low bitrate & presumed I was playing a CD.
