No its not a James Brown song..... (out of a Rocky film methinks...)
I was wondering what DVD prices are like in Florida ? I`m going there on Friday for 3 weeks so I dare say I`ll be dragged around the shops.
Anyone know of any good stores in Orlando ? I`ll badly miss this forum for the next 3 weeks though and I dare say I`ll struggle to get the deals
I`ve seen within here. (Natural Born Killers for £8.25 from Dvdoo.dk and the Oliver Stone Box set from WH Smith for £21.99 courtesy of Samantha)
Thanks for any information you can give.....
The situation is similar to over here in that shop prices are usually more expensive than online prices. You`ll find some good offers here and there, but not usually anything outstanding.
You could of course shop at online retailers and get them delivered to where you are staying - amazon.com are doing a lot of "free shipping" on titles for domestic (US only) orders.

My brother inlaw was in Chicago for a few months and he build a good collection by buying ex-rental DVDs from his local Blockbuster - he reckons they mostly came out to under £10 each.
Just try taking them back to Chicago when they turn out to be scratched / unplayable !
If you`re anywhere near the Disney Resorts, i.e Next to Pleasure Island(Unfortunetly not as good as it sounds!) there is the biggest Virgin Megastore I`ve ever been in that will take you a few hours to get around.
Other than that, there`s a few good stores on International Drive which might be where you`re staying, just go to the shopping centre on International Drive, and if I remember correctly there was a "Hooters" bar next to one good shop!
Hope this helps, P.S If you`re bringing a lot back, take off the wrapping and hide the receipts so that if they try to tax you on your way back they won`t know how much they`re woth, or you could give a lame excuse such as you`re borrowing them off your cousin who lives there!
Hope this helps, Have a good time
