Bargain Buckets Forum
Toys - r - us have a 10 foot quick up swimming pool for £49.99 - half price look slike a good deal.includes filter etc
I bought one of these a couple of years ago and they are great when filled but take ages to fill and you will need to buy a chemical kit to test the water and keep it clean unless you change it regularly.
The full kit which includes a combined Ph / alkaline tester and tablets , chlorine granules and shock chlorine cost me around £30 and allows me to leave the same water in for weeks with no problems.
Sounds a lot but it is easy when you get used to it , read here for more info

How do you keep all of the grass cuttings etc (from the kids feet) out of the pool?
Mine is sited on a patio so I don`t get too much of a problem with grass.
It came with an electric pump that fits to the pool via two 40 mm hoses one takes the water out and into the pump where it is filtered ( washable filter ) and then pumped back into the pool.
Every couple of days I get in the pool with a soft sweeping brush and sweep the bottom and scoop up any grass , flies etc in a small net.
Once you get to learn how often you need to top up the chlorine levels it is IMO a lot easier than messing about with a paddling pool every week.
P.s. Don`t forget that the pump will need to be fitted to a RCD.

Too right - Electricity & water are a very bad mix, just ask THO.
Actually its best not to ask her, if you want to keep your teeth or more importantly mine.
I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.
