It was great fun to watch & lovely to see Norman back again, a really gentle soul in real life when I met him during Anglicon 2016, complaining that he had hoped he gets his monies worth for his ESTA as he could shuffle off at any moment (A comment that's echoed in the documentary) & up the Seattle Space Needle.  

"Where did you get the ice creams from?"
"Just over there......"
Comes back 4 minutes later with his ice cream.
"Its not a day out without an ice cream is it!"

Stephen Moore - Rust In Piece

Just heard of the passing of Stephen Moore, (Marvin The Paranoid Android, Adrian Mole & Harry Enfleld's Kevin Dad's) at the age of 81.

RIP.

I found the reverse especially with David Jason as Rincewind I couldn't buy into especially as he'd already played Albert. 

The animations of Soul Music & Truckers worked much better for me.

I use PureVPN, a number of different connectivity options & plugins for Chrome & FF.

Some combination usually gets me accessing I-player\ITV\Netflix or US content.

It feel's lightweight\SJS\CBBC & a bit generic, I'm still waiting for the Doctor & her defining moment to reveal itself.

Watching yesterdays episode it felt that when Graham was talking to Yaz, that they were writing for him as The Doctor & I believed in him as that just for that moment.  

He's not the greatest actor in the world, but right now I think he's the best thing in it.

Theme - Retro & love it (Want to hear more of it & it took a while for the Indian version to sink in as to what I was listening too).

Titles l-Retro again & I like them, but seem to lack clarity or definition (Closing titles seem worse in that respect) on my laptop screen at least.

Stephen Hawking

RIP Stephen Hawking.

Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76.

The British theoretical physicist was known for his groundbreaking work with black holes and relativity, and was the author of several popular science books including A Brief History of Time.

I first heard of him & his work on Tomorrows World & remember a story that he used to climb a tree daily when first diagnosed with his affliction as every day it might be the last time he could do it.

I thought the movie with "Joey from Friends" wasn't that bad, it took plot points from some of the better early episodes of the first season & made it into a semi comprehensible movie (until the last part).

Not seen it in years though so it may just be the beer talking.

Peter Wyngarde has died at the grand age of 90.

Best known as Jason King & later in life a s the gold-masked Klytus in Flash Gordon and Timanov in Doctor Who.

Ran a cable from our router to the main room upstairs to eliminate patchy wifi & ethernet over power units that always flaked out.

Result no more screams from THO regarding Casualty buffering or timing out on Iplayer = Less time spent giving technical support from the pub & more drinking.

I used to use ADTelly VPN & was a Admin on it for a while, but my "Free Time" expired & I now use PureVPN to access I-Player etc.

PureVPN covers access to pretty much anywhere in the world & if timed right the buy one year get one year free deal brings it down to about $2.50 a month

If you can wangle the UK server name for dedicated IP like wot I did, you get all of Aunties "Nag" prompts about having a TV licence & having to register for access without having to purge cookies & history the moment before you go to I-Player.
