Page 1 of Asda dvds for 98pence

Totally gutted!
Got a phone tx msg off mate yesterday to tell me she had just been to the local Asda in Huyton and got 4 dvds for 98pence each.
Spawn was one of them,I think American Beauty or Psycho was another.
Anyway they had 4 or 5 of them for sale at that price.
I phoned my local store up to find out that they only had a limited stock and that they were going at that price because they were old or outdated stock..
Thought my mate would of got some for me while she was there.
I don`t know if this is just a one off in my local store or if it applies to any other Asda stores across the country.
Worth a phone call or visit to your local store I think,you never know .

Sounds like they moved the decimal point. Result!

I went to asda today, seems like the DVD in the 2 for 25 offer are 15.98 on their own. I guess those fool at asda had made a mistake with the 98p when pricing up - save your legs and petrol, i doubt this is a real offer!!!

It is actually a genuine offer.

I went into Hyson Green`s Asda on Saturday where they had a pitiful collection of el cheapo DVDs ("Evita" or "From Dusk Til Dawn2" anyone ?), and it is my understanding now that they were always gonna knock `em out at silly prices come the end of their sale.

Oops - sorry, should have forewarned you all really.

Does anyone know if this is offer is open at other Asda stores? I live in Manchester, went to my local one and all they had were the 2 for £25 deal.
