Page 1 of Woolies DVD sale starts Wed

My mate works there and he`s put away Home Alone 1/2/3 DVD set for £1.99

Don`t know if all woolies are getting these but, the staff will have `em all before customers.

He said there`s loads more bargains going on sale wed.

I`ll be there first thing!

I`m generally happy with the Woolies online DVD & CD prices and very good service. Re the staff - very helpful at my local "small" store. But because it`s small it never has any special offers left on DVDs or CD by the time I get there.

Good luck to the staff - its their perk! As long as they leave a few special offers for the customers and they`re not greedy and buy all them all, I don`t have any problems with that.

I would agree that those in store staff deserve some perks due to the long hours, weekends and bank holidays, etc. But surely the customers deserve some bargains now and again as well. Perhaps there should be a limit per staff of say 3 sale items each?

Although, if I worked there, maybe I would feel differently ;)
