Bargain Buckets Forum
I have just been to my local Orpington WHSMITH and they had a 10 DVD war collection reduced from £59.99 down to £19.99, this makes each DVD worth £2 quid each !!
Here is what you get:
Synopsis
Featuring: `Twelve O`Clock High`, `Behind Enemy Lines`, `Courage Under Fire` which follows a post Gulf War story of Lt. Colonel Nathan Serling who returns home knowing he has accidentally destroyed one of his own tanks. The army covers up the incident and he is assigned to investigate a female pilot who is about to receive the Medal of Honour. Also `Enemy At The Gates`, `Von Ryan`s Express`, `The Longest Day`, `Tigerland`, `Patton`, `Tora, Tora, Tora` and `The Thin Red Line`.
Pretty good :)
RE: 10 DVD War Collection at Smiths
sounds good, are the films all squashed onto a few disks or do you get indervidual disks?
Edit: Just found it on their website at the original £59.99, nice!:

All discs are individual in there own cases, it comes in a light flexible cupboard holder !
I went to my local WH Smith, and found the empty box. But they couldn`t find the dvds. (:¦ how ridiculous! in the end I just bought `the girl next door` for £2.99.
