It seems like its one of those.

I got a exclusive voucher from paypal once. I used it to buy an item of crapbay and it never worked, as a result I got a unpaid item strike.

Very p***ed off with paypals incompetence in sortig out the problem.

Yeah, the unpaid item strike wasn`t anything to do with you not actually paying for the item though, right?
Just because your voucher doesn`t work doesn`t absolve you from paying for an item you have placed a bid on!
Sheesh.

Well I had no money in my paypal account so when they sent me the voucher it should have worked! Paypal should not be sending dud voucher codes to people`s email addresses. >:(

What makes you think the email is genuine?

Code supplied by snail mail, promotional flyer like a birthday card.

I contacted them to confirm it was a genuine code and they said it was.

Pity they became pretty useless when I asked them why it did not work.

I received the "Thank you" card from Ebay with the CELEBRATION code. Bought an item, tried the code - didn`t work. Contacted Ebay and they said it was Paypal`s problem. Paypal referred me back to Ebay. Got nowhere. Usually the codes work so I was pretty annoyed this time >:(
