Tesco Bargains

abraham_love (Competent) posted this on Wednesday, 2nd January 2002, 10:37

This may not be true of all Tesco`s. But there is a bargain bin at the large one near me. Stock changes every couple of days. The best thing I saw (and bought) `Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?` - 2 Disc Special Edition for £7.99

By the way does anyone else have this disc? I am having trouble with the `painting with pixels` feature - it just won`t start. The rest of the disc is fine.

On another note - this is a top bargain but not DVD related - they have 12 Duracell AA batteries for £4.99 - In itself a bargain (their usual price is £3.99 for 4) but get this - you also get a free Walkman (well a personal stereo)!!! ha! I just thought that was stupid. 12 batteries and a free walkman. Incredible. I usually get batteries from Richer Sounds. But I might soon be the proud owner of 2 or 3 walkmans.
