Amazon UK are doing a deal on Bit Award music, CDs at £6.99, over 100 titles, various artists. Also some music DVDs at 25% off.

Gone are the days when I buy music CDs. Do people still still do that nowadays?! :-)

CDs ? What sort of bizarre format is that, then ?

DVDs have taken over my life - I`ve still got a cellophane wrapped Depeche Mode album from last April - and to think I used to consider myself their number one fan, an` all..

I only get dvds for movies and download Mp3`s instead of buying Cds

yeah but surely on some eg. your favourite artists, you like to have the original sleev?! well i do anyway...

okay okay, but remember that mp3s are of lower quality than your normal wav format.

if you listen to floyd on high quality audio equipment and compare to it played from your pc you should notice the difference. you no the bits i mean , dogs barkin, elevators and the rest. mp3 cds are okay but only to sell to other people. all my floyd stuff is original and fcuk the rest.

I don`t know what it is i just cant seem to bring myself to buy cd`s anymore.

I must admit i was tempted to simply buy the new dido album from amazon while it is at the price but then i thought why bother it is still £8 i don`t really need to spend, which could go towards a dvd, so I downloaded it instead.

I do feel a little guilty for the artists loosing out, but i guess it is just one of those things, a sign of the times.

ps. re. quality to be honest I can`t tell the difference, but i guess that could be because I listen to them in the car mainly.
