For the ex-rentals, which 3 of these are better: Planet of the apes(2 disc), Moulin Rouge(2 disvc), A knights tale, Jurassic park III. I think they were all £12.99 apart from moulin rouge which was about £14.99.Just need advise on which 3 to choose.

Personally, if youre buying DVDs for quality go for Planet of the Apes for the special effects, again Jurassic Park 111 for special effects and cinematography, and thirdly Moulin Rouge for a brilliantly directed piece of cinematic history, which is unlike anything that has gone before, its funny, clever, has a great soundtrack and definitely isnt "crap"!

Features wise drop Jurassic Park 3 as if its ex-rental I dont think it has any extras. The others, at least POA and MR, will have the extras as there wasn`t much if any difference between the rental and retail releases.
However JP3 is an ok film and if its cheap, even if you don`t get the extras, it could be worth buying, so I`d drop Moulin Rouge.

I went into my local BB today and picked up this offer on M Rouge, Fast and Furious and Going off Big Time (great British gangster flick). The guy at the counter told me that they were going to be adding various other titles over the next month (thats how long this offer is on) and this was likley to include Swordfish and a few other new titles as they had loads of them to get rid of. The DVDs are also guarenteed for 12 months so no worries really !

I agree totally with pj, MR for any filmfan (rather than just a blockbuster / explosion/ or effects fan - which can also be most enjoyable ) is a must watch - a total sensory overload of a film. You will never have seen anything like it - some like it, some hate it - but make up your own mind. Personally think it`s fantastic, and the extras are fantastic too.
