Hi,
Currys are selling an end of line Eltax Silverstone 110 bookshelf speakers (pair) for £25 (RRP=£120).

Music Power: 110W
Sinus Power: 65W
Feq Response : 50-20,000 Hz
Impedence : 4-8 Ohm

I bought them as the price looked very attractive but dont know if they are any good. Could not find any reference to them on the Eltax web site. Any one out there have any information about them please?

BTW: what is the Sinus Power?

They also have a pair of Mission DM7 with stands for £100. Are they any good?

Cheers

Jaf

No they are not, I went to one of the stores and it seems they are trying to clear thier stock. You might find them unpriced, so ask the staff you might get surprised with the figure.

Good Luck.

From a look at the figures it looks like Sinus Power is somthing similar to RMS (Root Mean Square) a far more accurate and useful measurment of the maximum power handling capabilities of a loudspeaker.
