As a life long horror/Argento fan, I am trying to get hold of one of Dario Argento`s better, later efforts: Opera, or Terror at the Opera as it was known in some countries. I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me if this is available on either R1 or R2. Cheers doodz

play247.com have it for £11.99 delivered but according to the site it is released 27/7/02 and it`s on region 2,but i`m sure that i`ve seen it in stores but maybe i`m wrong

Actually Play have it on R1 (dts) for £15.99. alternativley there is a two disc edition (one dvd one cd), but unless your`e a big fan of the music, i would go for the single disc. Denon may have confused Opera with Phantom Of The Opera? :)

Cheers, market. I have been on Play, and YEAH, BABY!!! That`s the one I`m after. I owe you a beer!!!!

No problem, Denon. Thanks for bothering anyway. It`s nice to know that people will still be bothered to help out.

While your there - if you don`t have it already, pick up the 3 disc LE of Suspiria - you won`t be disappointed!!

I`ve got the 3-disc L.E. (by mistake though - ordered the one-disc, got the three-disc, aren`t I lucky?) but I don`t think it`s that good.
The extras on the first disc are pathetic and the documentary, while nice, is nothing amazingly special (why couldn`t they have stuck it on the first disc?). The soundtrack is a cute extra but the music without the images just looses something. The booklet is cool and probably the only thing that I would go back and read again. The lobby cards are appreciated, even if the images they pick are a bit weird (why the picture of her in bed?) And the lack of subtitles is just a kick in the nuts to everyone who is hard-of-hearing, like me (stupid inconsiderate bastards). Definately not worth paying the extortionate £39.99 I`ve seen being asked for it - get the £17.99 version instead.
