DTS Titles

I`m looking for the best DTS soundtracks around...Like reference quality...
How does the DTS version of Jurassic Park compare to the Dolby Digital version of it, is it infinitely better or is it just marginal
Cheers
Urban

if you want a good dts title try titan ae serious bass.
also try the jackal and the new superbit r1 fifth element, the eagles hell freezes over and gladiator, atlantis the lost empire, dante`s peak, the musketeer r1,u571,heat ro -2disc set and any good music titles which all seem to be in dts - c`mon film companies they can do it why can`t you.
i don`t care about anyone else`s view i am a big big dts fan. it`s on the disc not on celluloid how can it not be better true lies dts at the flics CANNOT be beat.

Moulin Rouge is another great demo for DTS.

I`m not so sure that the music releases are such a great demo, you need to have a very cohesive setup (i.e. ideally the same speakers used all round) and even then, some of the "surround" mastering is dubious to say the least. The Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" is a good example of the best of DTS, but then sound quality aside, can you really face listening to such a cynical pile of XXXX?

Unless you have a 5.1 setup specifically optimised for music (hands up those who`ve spotted the oxymoron...), I`d say it`s best to stick to film soundtracks for now....
