Alternatives to Princo CD-R for VCD playback on fussy DVD player

I have used PRINCO cdr`s to play VCD`s in my Hitachi DVP-305 with success. However, Princo cd`s have now been withdrawn from sale. Does anybody know of an alternative that may work in my dvd player.

I would also be grateful to know if anyone has found an alternative as my Sony 725 won`t play nomal CD-Rs and Princo are the only suggestions that I`ve found....

I would also be very grateful as well as i have a hitachi DVP315 player and it will only play princos and vivastars and they both dont exist anymore so if anyone can help then please let me know !!!!!!!!!!!
