Page 1 of Question about region 1 films????

I have just brought spider-man on region 1 i have unlocked my dvd player to play any region, but the question i want to ask is.

When we play region 1 films on the dvd player they dont seem to run as smoothly as a region 2 films can you help???

Also will be play smoothly on a ps2????

The jerkiness is probably your player doing NTSC->PAL conversion on the fly. If your TV can accept NTSC, set your player to output NTSC as NTSC rather than as PAL

i have this problem too!! i have a jvc player which is set to the correct mode and my tv, which is also jvc, is also set to ntsc but it still drops frames!!!!!!!

if anyone can come up with a solution to this, i too would be grateful.
