Dear All
I`ve been posting reviews - off and on - since April 2000, and since I often read people writing about other reviews, in magazines and on the net, I was wondering. Do any of you read the reviews here?
I`ve only ever had 2 bits of feedback, and as there is no other way of finding out i`m just curious - Its something to do on a wet and cold monday night.

I read all reviews posted unless they are of a title that a) has been reviewed too much already and all opinions have been formed or b) is a very, very obscure title.
I also try and contribute reviews regularly.
I also read most of the new reviews posted, and always check out the disc reviews when considering buying a disc. The system where everyone can write a revew is great because it gives a well rounded opinion on discs, as well as covering a greater range of films.
Tony, I always read your reviews, they`re good. :-)
And like Rich, I read pretty much all the reviews here. The system for visitor reviews works pretty well.
Your feedback in the forums about reviews is a good gauge but it`s not something that is really discussed enough and I agree that there`s not enough feedback about what any of us write apart from typos and other errors. We`ll see what can be done to improve this in 2003.
If you have a disc you want added to the dbase for your own review, by all means follow the link on the left and request it. I hope you keep submitting reviews since I always find these and what others say interesting.

As Rich D and Anil said, reviews are interesting and help to form accurate opinions: precisely why they are on the site! And hopefully, when RJS gets round to it, a better feedback system will be applied to the reviews, but as it stands, they are still pretty good, and they`re always is the `mail user` link.
