Well, I liked it. What did people expect from it? It`s hardly Shakespeare - it`s a low-budget slasher film with some dashes of originality and innovative use of sound. I imagine it`s what The Evil Dead or Texas Chainsaw Massacre would have been like, if they were made today as opposed to 20 or 30 years ago.

Like `Event Horizon` (another of my favourites which tends to attract sneers from critics), this is definitely a film to watch on your own in a darkened room. I defy you not to sh*t yourself if you watch it this way! However, if you were planning to invite a bunch of mates over and fill yourselves with lager, peanuts and Doritos, while laughing about how sh*te the film is, you might as well forget it.

Having read Mike`s review, it seems as though the creators of this film were trying to push it as something `higher` than it really was - more artistic, witty, satirical, whatever - and that was bound to result in disappointment. Wait another decade or so, and I`m sure this will be a cult classic among horror fans.

Has anyone bought the DVD special edition? Any good, as the reviews have been positive on the extras front, especially on the multiangle sex scene ;-)

Well I finally saw it, and I have to say it is the most boring film I have ever seen.

For almost an hour nothing happened, I almost turned it off, out of sheer boredom, but I stuck it through just to see if at least something happend.

Well things did happen, and all I can say is that I`ve seen scarier stuff coming out my arse.

The plot had holes the size of the grand canyon, and the false jumps during the begining of the film was starting to p*** me off big style.

This film made Halloween Resurection look good.

I`m off to swap this movie for something decent at Asda tonight
