Page 1 of Need an answer - what other Hitchcock title to get, aside from `Psycho`?

Play.com are doing a special deal: 2 Hitchcock DVDs for £20 - the special edition, newly-released versions. I am thinking of getting `Psycho`, but need obviously to get another. (I already have `North by Northwest`, as well.)

I have heard good things about `Vertigo` and `Rear Window` - anyone care to add anything?

The Birds & Frenzy are another of couple of good hitchcock titles well worth getting

I know there are two versions of `The 39 Steps` - I have seen one of them, and I think it was in colour. Is that the one you are referring to? What is the appeal of `Rope`?

Hitchcock`s 39 Steps isn`t in colour, other people did the remakes.

Rear Window`s my fave.

It`s very good for tying people up with...
BW 39 Steps is Robert Donat directed by Hitch in 1935-before my bedtime i think :)
