best death

not sure if weve had this column before but if so do tell again. for me the best death ever in a film has to be in The last boy scout when Bruce smacks the guys nose through his brain "touch me again and i`ll kill ya" WHACK! you dead! so my top 5 are:
1- Last boy scout (obviously)
2- Snatch, (Boris) taking for ever to die
3- Pulp fiction, when vincent accidently blows the guys head off in the back of the car
4- Narc, when the (stoned)guy blows his head off with the shotgun
5- Final Destination, the blonde bimbo terry "you can all just drop ******* dead" SPLAT!

any absolute Q 1`s ive missed? let me know

Agree with the Final Destination example. The funniest, and indeed one of the mst satisfying is when McCauley Culkin gets stung to death in soemthing or other, and another that sticks in the memory is Carrie`s mother, in `Carrie` (surprisingly enough).

The best death i think i have seen has got to be when Brat Pitt gets run over in "Meet Joe Black"

If you`ve seen it, you wont forget it

oh yeah

All the deaths in Resevoir Dogs are quite good along with the ones in Pulp Fiction

Bad Boys 2. The main villian. A bullet in the head is not satisfying enough so he has to fall on a landmine and get blown to pieces ;)

Grosse Point Blank. The fight in the school beside his old locker. Great fight and Blank proves that the pen is mightier than the sword ;)

No problem ;)
As anyone stupid enough to read after I mentioned Bad Boys 2 deserves to get spoiled, especially since the thread is pretty much dedicated to spoilers.

Haha nice one Chewie. I mean, what a twist in the tale for the baddie to get killed at the end? That`s probably ruined the whole film for you.

I always liked the bit in Resident Evil where that bloke gets cut apart by the lasers, though can`t think of a definitive fave death of mine right now.

..there`s always the classic David Warner meets the thin sheet of metal in The Omen, and Richard Pryor`s unfortunate lift accident in Omen 2...and that other nasty little`head meets lift` scene in The Fly 2 as well.

Hope this hasn`t spoiled it for anyone.
