Anyone seen this before now?

Won`t be watchin it coz don`t have sky movies, but saw the ads for it - the effects look absolutely mental.

oh - and Angel has been cancelled in case anyone out there is interested.

the new battlestar galactica is VERY good, but don`t hold it to the original to much as much of the timeline/characters won`t add up :D but take it as it is and you should enjoy it

EDIT= i think it`s a crime that it`s being shown on sky movies instead of sky 1 tho >:(

Is this new series being released onto DVD at all? I havent got Sky myself!! :(

I saw it a couple of months ag, and it was quite good, i hear its been picked up for a series. And may WB burn in hell for cancelling Angel >:( , coincidently WB are releasing their own Vampire series in the autumn.. hope its rubbish

It isnt really a mini series, more like a Pilot episode for the Series that Sci-Fi have just given the go ahead for, but www.play.com and amazon.co.uk both have "Battlestar Galactica Mini Series" Region 2 DVD listed which is due for release on the 1st March, dont know if this is confirmed but I hope it is, wouldnt mind seeing it again in DVD Quality with 5.1 :)

Might treat myself to that. From the snippets I`ve seen it looks so different then the original series but the effects look great!

It is now listed on HMV but they have it marked down as being produced by Universal which makes me think it might be a re-release of the original Battlestar Galactica Movie that was released on dvd back in the late 90s and has since been deleted which some websites called the Battlestar Galactica Mini Series as it was originally in 3-parts, will have to wait for more info before we know for sure.

For anyone who missed it Sky are repeating (shock horror, how totally unlike Sky! :o ) Battlestar Gallactica on Sunday night - both parts back to back. Well worth a watch.
