Page 1 of once upon a time in mexico/El Mariachi/Desperado

Just wonderin if anyone thinks this boxset is worth buyin as out of the 3, i`ve only seen Desperado a while ago. Its £22-£23 most places i`ve found.

Don`t know about the triple pack, but you can get the double pack of Desperado / El Mariachi (1 disc, one movie per side) at DVD.CO.UK for £7.99 with free P&P

Once Upon A Time is PANTS, not a patch on the other 2 at all.

Gunfights very poor, and the guns appeared to be filled with black powder just to create loads of fire and smoke, but actually looked naff when fired!!

Oh and bare handed wall climbing ...........right...........

I was very disappointed with it and sold it right away on EBay to get rid of it.

Need to make your own mind up though, maybe safer to rent 1st then decide.

Review here only gives it 5.9/10 and that`s about right I think http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285823/

El Mariachi is good for its budget ($7k!), and Desperado is basically a straight Hollywood remake, albeit with clips of the original - changed to include Banderas! - intertwined. They`re both enjoyable, and I own the aforementioned 2 films on 1 disc release...but I will be getting OUATIM when it comes out.

Anyway, to answer your question simply: get the boxset. :-D
