Page 1 of mac and me dvd?

Seeing that big foot and the henderson`s thread made me think of this film for some reason, it`s a blatant rip off of ET but far superior in my opinion, do you reckon it ever has a chance of being released on dvd, or even shown again on tv, or should i just pick up a second hand vhs of it?

is that the one with the alien things with fat bellies a familey of them

Wasn`t Mac and Me something to do with McDonalds; hence the name and blatant plugging of the fast food giants all the way through?

Yeah it was a 90minute McDonalds advert and IIRC the aliens drank (had to?) Coca Cola.

I`d buy it on DVD though, Mac the alien was cute. :)

Personally, I think there`s a few other films I`d rather buy first.

YEAH, bring it on! I had it on video until recently... taped `Stir Of Echoes` over it when it was on BBC3.

That weird thing MACs parents did where they held their forearms together with their hands flat and facing up used to freak me out a bit though...

*Might* still have it on video from Christmas 1991 or something... might have to dig it out.

(BTW I`ve not set foot in a McDonalds in about 17 years and have been vegetarian for 11 years, the advertising didn`t work on me!)
