Highlander - Been and Gone??

Stephen Atty (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Tuesday, 3rd April 2001, 21:56

Was this a limited release? Amazon.co.uk say it is not in stock. Black star say it was deleted from the UK catalogue on 21st March 2001?

I WANT a copy.. my VHS copy is worn out!!

The box is ghostly transparent and has canal+ eurpoean cut written on it!

My copy has a clear case. It has `studio canal` written on the front, and Highlander is written in red.

On the back, it says DVD EUROPEAN VERSION. The Audio is English, Italian and Spanish, and has the option of french and dutch subtitles.

Well I got hold of a copy and it looks like the standard UK Cinema release .. not the US version which was rather badly mangled.

Picture is sharp and clear.. audio is a bit lacking in bass but its good and clear too.

I suspect that the other 3 movies are going to be packaged in a similar way given the way the movie has been packaged.
