Page 1 of Star Wars about to be shipped by Play??

Ordered with the 10% Sun discount at back end of August.

Order Status has now changed from `Preordered` to `Order Placed` which means that Quote:
the item is in stock and about to be processed. If I click on the link in my account is says that the item is in stock and should be shipped within 24 hours.

However, in the main shop is still says due for release on 20/09/04 :/

Just checked mine and it says the same...could it be?....oooh I hope so :D

Mine shipped yesterday on region 2..... could be a great weekend after all......

Play was showing it in stock for a few hours on wednesday, then out of stock again. So maybe they didnt have enough to fulfilll all the preorders. Maybe this time. Stuff always takes 3 days to get to me from Play though.

They may have stock but like all other R2 retailers they wont be allowed to sell it until release day, earliest I think Play.com will start shipping will be next Thursday so it will either arrive on the Saturday or release day but if they were to ship it earlier I wouldnt have a problem with it but I dont see it happening.

That`s not true. They have shipped stuff early in the past. People don`t give a toss about release dates and the like. I know of at least one R2 site that`s broken the embargo on Star Wars reviews.

I have had my order as order placed since Tuesday and I doubt it will be shipped until next week.

just phoned play, they have the first batch. He said they will be sent out today and firs tthing monday morning. So if we`re lucky, either wednesday or thursday will be `a day long remembered`...

Mine was pre-ordered with Play since June but now has mysteriously disappeared from my account. Has anyone else had this?
