Scooting its way to me as I type. Curiosity got the better of me and should have it by the weekend.

Yes - got it the other day. :D Not as bad as its made out by todays standards. The three porn scenes have been re-edited back in and to be honest spoils the movie. And the knife in the eye scene, supposedly on a body from the local hospital, isn`t that frightful either. Or am I just a sick bastard?
Good revenge type flick though.

I`d get it now if you can. I thought it was a pretty decent film, the porn scenes are pretty useless as badboybez said. You can certainly see why Tarentino liked it and how there was some influence on him.

I thought the action scenes were seriously buggered up by excessively slow motion. Nowt wrong with a spot here and there, but after the shag-excess in this I was all fired up for similarly OTT revenge action, and it all fell on its face. In my etc...

Michael Mackenzie did a great review for it on DVD Times. It sounds fairly intriguing, and it`s supposedly very well directed.

RE: Anyone seen....Thriller: A Cruel Picture?
I did enjoy it on the whole. I just thought much of the action was victim to one of the worst cases of slomo abuse I`ve seen. By today`s standards, the violence is also comically mild, apart from the disarmingly realistic scalpel-in-eye scene.
I also found the porn close-ups unnecessary. They added nothing to the story, and were zoomed-in on so close there`s no evidence that the genitals involved actually belonged to the lead actress, which I think makes them even less necessary. A stunt c*nt...well, whatever is/was the world coming to.. :/
