Page 1 of Hey! R2 Transfomers DVD! Anybody know anything about that?

Ok i may either be one of a small group of very sad people awaiting the R2 release of a kids cartoon! Or i may be one of many, many nostalgic 80`s kids who grew up on a daily dose of Robots in Disguise and was absolutely blown away when the movie came out! Either way i`ve read bits and bobs here and there about the release of an R2 disc with various different views on what features will be with it! The transformers.net has me very excited indeed (sad, i know)about what they say will be on the disc! And it seems to me that the R2 disc that they propose will beat the pants off the R1 disc, as well as having a far superior and dare i say more grown up cover! So can anyone out there in the happy world of cyber space key me in on some info regarding the R2 DVD release of Transformers: The movie? And i stress that i don`t have a credit card or any other such means by which to purchase it on the `net so i`m really looking for the uk retail release and not any kind of import or internet site that sells it! Thanx!

It`s been delayed till either August 20th or September 20th.

Apparantly they`ve been trying to track down the widescreen version and had almost given up and were going to release it late July in fullscreen but just before the release date they found the widescreen version and so have held up the releae so they can use it.

You probably know that though as Igot it from thetransformers.net forums..

I`m more excited about the series one boxset thats supposedly due late this year!

I had a quick look on Play247.com and they have a full list of the extras on offer. Which include commentaries, trailers, music videos, toy commercials and much more.

The release date is 20/08/01 which is not that far away.

Play are selling it for £11.99 which is a bargain, but as you have not got a credit card, you will have to get ot somewherte else and more than likely pay a few quid more.

I cant wait to get it. Grew up watching the autobots and the decepticons.
