When is the above coming out, and how many episodes are there in season 3?

I`ve heard that it`s coming out in October and I think it`s 23 epsiodes, like all US TV series (apart from season 1 of buffy or it get axed.).

Season 3 is 22 episodes, same as all seasons except S1.
