I think it does, but I can check tonight when I get home. Unless someone answers in the mean time.
Thanks sashenden, I`ll apreciate that.
Just had a look through the season 1 discs and no sign of ANY subtitles on them at all. :(
RE: Stargate SG-1: Season 1 help
Are you sure? My understanding is that there are Dutch, English HoH and German HoH subtitles on the Region 2 release of Stargate SG-1: Season One.
I have the Region 1 set and there is no mention of subtitles on the slipcase or dvd cases but when you insert the discs and select `Languages` it offers you English, French and Spanish soundtracks and English, French and Spanish subtitles. If you have not already done so, pop a disc into your player and see what it lists under `Languages.`
I already popped a disc in , thats how I checked. But I just went back and double checked. No language or audio options in the menu, no audio or subtitles available from the players remote either.
So there is only a 5.1 english audio track and no subtitles at all.
RE: Stargate SG-1: Season 1 help
Strange one. If that is the case then numerous sites ( Rewind; MichaelDVD to name but two ) have got it very wrong as they claim the set has Dutch, English HoH and German HoH subtitles and two or three audio options.
As I said earlier , I have the Region One set. When I load disc one, I get the Stargate screen along with the instruction `Enter The Stargate.` Selecting same brings up a menu asking me to select (1) The Pilot (2) Episode 1 (2) Episode 3. Selecting any of these options then brings up the Audio/Subtitle options.
Many thanks for double checking. It would seem Edu is out of luck.

Yep , all the later series have got subs and and audio tracks, but the menu on this one is the gate room with an option to Play or Select Epsiode. Tried it in a Tosh player and on the PC.
Thanks!
Might buy the R1...
